Sales Associate

Duties Include:

  • Hours of work may vary depending on the demands of customers and dealership needs.
  • Working evenings and Saturdays are mandatory, unless approved by Branch Manager.
  • Greet and Assist Walk-In Customers
  • Listen to the needs and expectations of Customers and provide relevant solutions, options and information to assist them in making their decision easier
  • Efficiently handle Customer traffic thru the showroom
  • Analyze the choices and financial capacities of every customer and suggest suitable products, ask the customer questions to learn what would fit their needs best
  • Offer different alternatives to customers in their preferred choice of product, or comparable brands
  • Manage all phone inquiries and web leads; cc’ing the branch mgr and mrktg mgr
  • Responsible to close deals and achieve customer satisfaction
  • Cold Calling prospective customers, educate the prospective customer on who we are and the brands we offer. Invite them in with incentives.
  • Strategize to reach your sales target monthly
  • Establish friendly relations with customers and follow up to encourage them to return
  • Research the market for new competitive products introduced and the marketing strategies adopted by competitors
  • Record details of every sales transaction in the sales book and submit weekly reports to the higher officials
  • Support Marketing efforts by taking a pic of all units leaving the dealership with customer satisfied to be posted on our social media.
  • Maintain and ensure Showroom is tidy and clean. Wipe down displays.
  • Maintain the catalog stock and display. Ensure all catalogs are labelled with WPM.
  • Mandatory to work all Boat Shows and Special Events.
  • All Trade-In values must be approved by Branch Manager.
  • Commission Reports are to be handed in at month end.
  • Mandatory to hand in all sales lead sheets at the end of every month.
  • Ensure that all documents are completed properly and are in each file before handing the file to a manger or financing office.
  • Use CDK Lightspeed to do Quotes
  • Take pictures of units to be put up on KIJIJI or refresh units on our website

Service Advisor

Duties Include:

  • Meet and communicate with the walk-in customers
  • Understand the needs and expectations of the customers and provide relevant solutions
  • Handle the traffic of customers and ensure proper attention to every customer
  • Takes detailed notes with regard to the customer’s issues.
  • Asks follow up questions as necessary.
  • Enters customer’s personal information in dealership database.
  • Mandatory to get a copy of each customers ID prior to any service work being performed
  • Provides forms for customers to sign.
  • Ensure pictures and forms are being completed for each customer RO.
  • Draws up work order with specific details.
  • Assigns inspections to technician.
  • Acts as liaison between customer and technician.
  • Provides cost estimates.
  • Imparts information to customer regarding the work provided by the mechanic.
  • Answers customer questions regarding condition of the vehicle, wait time, and cost.
  • Explains terminology and the nature of work completed to customer.
  • Prints out billing statements.
  • Explains billing details to customer.
  • Processes customer payments.
  • Maintains logs of vehicle work completed.
  • Answers service area phones and schedules appointments as needed.
  • Improve customer service experience by creating and engaging customers reviews.
  • Take ownership of customer’s issues and follow problems through to resolution.
  • Set out guidelines for you as an individual to follow
  • Develop or improve procedures to maintain safety standards and dealership policy's
  • Keep accurate records and document customers service actions and discussions
  • Maintain and ensure accurate records on all warranty claims current and outstanding.
  • Create and nurture a good working environment within the department.
  • Ensure RO are properly files and finalized before months end.
  • Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities
  • Every customer must be asked if they are a Airmiles Collector
  • Any other duties may be assigned based on the dealerships needs and requirements*

Service Technician - (BRP Certified)

Duties Include:

  • Any other duties as assigned
  • Identify mechanical problems, often by using computerized diagnostic equipment
  • Mandatory that each technician has his/her own tools and tool box.
  • Test parts and systems to ensure that the product is working as specified by the manufacture.
  • Follow and complete all necessary forms or checklist to ensure products are fixed correctly.
  • Perform Maintenance and Winterization only engines, boats, trailers but limited to those listed.
  • Repair or replace worn parts in a requested or specified time period.
  • Disassemble and reassemble parts in a requested or specified time period.
  • Explain to Service Advisor the problems and repairs required to each specific work order.
  • Perform inspections for insurance purposes
  • Steel Toe boots or shoes is mandatory.
  • Safety Glasses are mandatory while in the shop.
  • Technician is required to transfer units to and from the yard to the shop but limited to that area specifically.
  • Must get all required parts from Service Advisor
  • Shop must be kept clean and tidy in accordance with safe practice procedures

Parts Manager

Duties Include:

  • Meet and communicate with the walk-in customers
  • Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with customers and to exceed their expectations
  • Ability to maintain proper parts inventory levels
  • Ability to utilize computer and computer capabilities for inventory, record keeping, parts information.
  • Able to develop and follow action plans to ensure customer enthusiasm and Parts Department profitability
  • Knowledge of and ability to interpret inventory reports
  • Knowledge of parts pricing procedures.
  • Knowledge of new models.
  • Enters customer’s personal information in dealership database. Name, email and phone number is mandatory to enter.
  • Monitor the parts inventory and anticipate parts needs in light of future promotions, new model year, trends, and suggested stock orders.
  • Is responsible for the security of inventory and analyzing the quality of parts.
  • Works with retail and wholesale customers in handling of complaints, and negotiating prices to ensure customer enthusiasm.
  • Is responsible for-profit management in the parts department and must examine department expenses and revenue, to ensure the departments profitability.
  • In cooperation with the dealership’s leadership, must review the previous month’s sales/profit performance to determine where improvements can be made.
  • Must consider inventory purchases to coincide with sales and special incentives in order to take advantage of savings.
  • Is responsible for training and leading the parts department team and reviewing team performance on a regular basis, according to dealership policy
  • Spot check inventory to ensure proper amount of parts on hand
  • Consult with Manager on purchases needed for shop supplies
  • Every customer must be asked if they are a Air Miles Collector

Receptionist

Duties Include:

  • Meet and greet customers as they arrive at the dealership
  • Answer phone calls and direct the calls as per customers request
  • Keep front end of the dealership clean and tidy
  • Wash and clean windows and floors
  • Change garbage as required
  • Ensure customer washrooms are clean and full of supplies
  • Do daily cash outs for the dealership
  • Prepare deposit book with daily cash outs and submit the book to manager
  • Help other departments with various projects as they are assigned
  • Maintain the supply room and order when required to
  • Work with the Marketing to ensure the website and ads are up to date
